Come December 1, fashion-conscious brides-to-be are
in for a treat: Danielle and Jodie Snyder, the sisters behind the jewelry label
Dannijo, will officially be launching a seven-piece bridal collection on dannijo.com. The baubles were first
spotted on the wrists of Leandra Medine (Man Repeller) and her bridesmaids at her wedding last June.
"So many of our customers request jewelry for their weddings or buy Dannijo pieces as gifts for their bridesmaids," Danielle told ELLE.com. "Bridal is a business we've always been involved in, so it made sense to launch a collection to meet our customers' needs. After custom designing pieces for Leandra's wedding and planning for Jodie's wedding next April, it was a natural next step."
The chunky, statement gems will surely speak to sartorial brides looking to step outside the box. The sisters cited "Old Hollywood glam" as their inspiration. "All of our jewelry is handmade with Swarovski crystals here in New York," noted Jodie. "We used more clear crystals for our bridal collection to create pieces that are truly timeless. The pieces can be bohemian, rocker, or classic—it's how they're paired and layered."
